Background, Education, and Training

Dr. England is a fourth-generation Greenville native with roots deep in the community. She grew up riding hunt seat, running, singing, and training horses and dogs. She always adored school, reading, and having her millions of questions answered in great detail. Science and mathematics were her favorite subjects which made her love of Furman University a given. She was granted merit-based scholarships to attend which covered about 60% of her tuition, room and board there. She worked three jobs while she attended full-time to help with other expenses. She graduated with honors, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Biology.

One of her jobs during college was as a research technician during the summers and teaching assistant during the school year. Her years of bench research led to a summer internship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and then a career there in the Calicivirus laboratory. She loved her work but kept feeling a call toward medicine. While working full-time she began studying for the MCAT, taking prerequisite classes, applying to medical school, and training a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel puppy. She matriculated at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville where she received a merit-based scholarship to attend.

Dr. England then matched into an integrated plastic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic and served as Chief Resident. Upon graduating she undertook an optional additional year of training, completing her Aesthetic Society-endorsed fellowship at Hedden and Gunn Plastic Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama — one of the busiest aesthetics-only private practices in the United States. After this she was finally able to move home to Greenville, South Carolina with her family. She is thrilled to join Carolina Plastic Surgery as its newest plastic surgeon.

Philosophy

“I believe in treating people the way I would want my own family treated. The relationship we develop as doctor and patient is sacrosanct. I do and have always taken my role in this quite seriously. Patient comfort — physical, mental and emotional — matters. Being heard matters.

The mission we embark upon together is helping you to feel like your best self, a self that is uniquely you. Bespoke. Elegant. Timeless. Tailored both to your own unique anatomy and your own unique view of what is beautiful. My beauty preference is naturally done so that you elicit comments of ‘Wow! You look amazing! Have you been getting plenty of sleep and drinking your lemon water?’ rather than ‘Who did your beautiful work?’

Aesthetic plastic surgery is an art. My goal is that all people see is you, not the work done to achieve it. I specialize in plastic surgery of the face, nose, ears, breast, and body as well as injectables, non-surgical procedures, facial balancing and harmonization, and skincare to help you achieve your most elegant self possible. Optimal aging is met through a combination of all these and more.”
